Master Disciple

A young seeker visited the master. The seeker said

“There is no mind,

there is no body,

there is no wisdom.

There is no better,

there is no worse.

There is no master

and there is no student;

there is no giving,

there is no receiving.

What we think we see and feel is not real.

All that is real is Emptiness.

None of these seeming things really exists.”

Master had been sitting quietly smoking his pipe, and saying nothing. Master picked up his staff, and without warning gave the seeker a terrible whack. Seeker jumped up in anger. “Since none of these things really exists,” said the Master,

“and all is Emptiness, where does your anger come from? Think about it.”

Seeker answered back

“If I think, then ‘I’ am and if ‘I’ am then,

‘I’ can be angry for ‘I’ in me is non existent

but you in you which in itself is non existence

came into existence making me come into

existence, so the reflection happens from

the source not from me. You remove the

source of ‘I’ my ‘I’ would vanish.”

Gaining such a disciple and having such a Master one attains the truth and one bestows the truth naturally. The more one is deeper within the origin of the self the deeper would be the reflection turned into a reality. The Master always seeks a disciple who would be able to see, hear, touch, share, feel, laugh and to love. In the same way and manner a true disciple looks for a Master who is able to follow the seven subtle ways of seeing, hearing, touching, sharing, feeling, laughing and to loving.  This allows every single moment of disciple and master a fulfilling BPO meaning Blessing, Purpose and Offering, the more deeper your love the more expansive your blessing and offering would be leading you closer to the purpose you hold true.
