HE, looks with his eyes, awakens HIS conscious triggering the Manasa Citta (heart consciousness), breath of HIS connected with HIS own Life force (prana citta sharira). HIS Eyes catches hold of the stillness within the prana citta sharira of the disciple, through the eyes of the disciple. At this moment the glory and prana of HIM connected with the pure consciousness pierces with his eyes into the eyes of the disciple, in the form of consciousness allowing the self-consciousness of disciple to merge with the piercing of the pure consciousness. It is only in this moment HE becomes a Guru and disciple becomes a shishya and the process is Initiation. Guru is one who gives and shishya one who receives, what is given is called deva-svara (soundless sound of gods), what is received is Guru-diksha (passage of rites for removal of darkness) – Maitreya Rudrabhayananda
